Bleeding can mean different things throughout your pregnancy. If you have vaginal bleeding with abdominal pain or menstrual-like cramps, it may be a sign of ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy happens when a fertilized egg implants itself outside of the womb. Another reason for vaginal bleeding is due to placental abruption. This is when the placenta gets separated from the inner wall of the uterus, which deprives the baby of oxygen. Lastly, vaginal bleeding could also be a sign of miscarriage. If vaginal bleeding happens during your pregnancy, contact your doctor immediately.   Convulsions Convulsions are one of the major bad signs during pregnancy. It can be a symptom of preeclampsia, a serious and potentially fatal condition accompanied by high blood pressure.
